Spirit vs Ego

Internal dialogue may be understood as the dialogue between our ego and our soul or conscience. Ego represents selfishness, our spirit as it is God inside us represents oneness and selflessness.   

The whispers of your ego based upon lust, anger, greed, envy and confusion. Meanwhile your conscience of your spirit based upon divinity, equality and truthfulness.   

Every single matter that we observe evokes internal dialogue within us. Anything really depends on our wisdom to judge. We have choices at anytime and, the choice is ours. One thing has more than one or many perspectives. Our wisdom has its utmost role to choose our affirmation.

Your habit of choosing your internal dialogue might determine your future statement.

Non judgment might mean that we are freeing ourselves from judging what’s right and wrong but endeavoring to take the wisest affirmation within our internal dialogue.   

The border between right and wrong, ego & spirit, happiness and fallacious fun is truly flimsy for those who are still confused. But for those who have gained enlightenment can see it very clear. These samples below might be differences of characteristics of ego & spirits:   

(1)    *Spirit: Restful and Peaceful. It is immovable because it is focus on inner happiness. It is not much bothered by hustle and bustle of surroundings. *Ego: Full of Turbulence. Very vulnerable because it depends its happiness on others' judgement. Panicking, rush are other characteristic of ego.  

(2)    *Spirit: Feeling Equal. Everyone is bestowed with different talents. We can drive a car because some other fellow human beings are capable of making them. We can use computer despite not all of us are inventors of computer. Computer makers can eat good food because some other people are blessed with great talent being a cook. *Ego:Feeling Higher or Superior. You can't be a boss without others being employees. No matter how smart you are if none choose being farmers, you die. So our existence is to compliment one to the other.  

(3)    *Spirit: 'Focus On The Evolution Of Immortal Soul'. It knows this life is too short to do bad things like cheating, being dishonest, being greedy, angry, envy, stressful and other negative things that doesn't help the soul to evolve into higher being. It seeks happiness that will not turn into long term misery for himself and others. *Ego: 'Seeking Short Term Joys'. It doesn't realize that the choice cause long term pain for the doer and others. For example ego parents part ways and let their kids mentally suffering.

 (4)    *Spirit: ‘Universal and Opened Minded'. Its prayer is for the Universe and all its contents. It respects others like respecting self. Seeing everyone as God in different form. *Ego: 'Exclusive  and Narrow Minded'. When it feels different to others, it thinks it can do anything to fulfill its desires even by sacrificing others.     

The real us is our internal dialogue affirmation. We don’t need to pretend to be a good person meanwhile inside of us is not. Being hypocritical is the worst way of life. We cannot cheat anyone. God and Universe have established the law of Karma. What goes around will come around. At the end of the day, each of us has to pay our own bill.    

Some ways to win your internal dialogue for the sake of your spirit evolution:

1.       Understand that you are being tested at anytime. Pass the test.

2.       Transmute the whispers of the ego into positive and uplifting energy of divinity.

3.       Do meditation that praying for universe and all its contents not only for yourself, family or                             your group.

4.       Be impeccable in your speech and behaviors.

5.       Avoid being hypocritical.

6.       Be grateful in every moment do repetition. Say in your heart: I am healthy, I am happy, I am                        blessed with this life.

7.       Always focus on the bright side of anyone or anything.
